OCTOBER, its getting cool, Dancin News!

WELCOME BACK DANCE FAMILY!! 2024/2025 I pray everyone has had a restful and beautiful summer and is now settling in to there regular routines. I wanted to keep everyone updated as the season starts, as we have some fun events coming up as well as other things to keep in the forefront of our minds. We will be closed for Halloween.Our annual Christmas show, and spaghetti dinner fundraiser will hopefully be on Saturday December 14th ( I will keep everyone posted)and everything raised will go toward competition fees. The show is for groups in classes ages 6 and up, who is interested in participating. Signups will be available on the cubbies in the waiting area in a binder late October to early November, highlighted green will be what their class will need for attire, (usually a specific-colored tee shirt) and highlighted pink is the sign ups. This is not mandated but encouraged. Apparel will be simple and inexpensive as always. I don’t want anyone to go into a big expense, and I have bought some fun props for the kids to borrow for the show :) Practicing for the show will be a part of their regular class time whether they want to be in the show or not as we always do a Christmas dance anyways. The show and spaghetti dinner are by donation and we greatly appreciate anything you are able to give. This is just an overall fun family experience that many, including myself look forward to. Please feel free to spread the word of this event and let’s make it a success together! Rehearsal will be at 3:00 and the show and dinner will start at 4:45. Our Christmans show will once again be at the South Hero Elementary School. Down Below is a list of fun events that will be offered over the next couple of months. Space is limited. Halloween FlashMob!! Ever want to be apart of a fun flashmob! Learn a spooky dance over 3 meetings and then we travel to the trunk or treat in south hero to surprise everyone with our spooky fun routine before heading to Donaldson to do the same! Such a fun way to enhance your already cool halloween celebration. Join Miss Liza and Miss Trinity for a surprise flashmob that will be sure to put a smile on even the crankiest of gouls and goblins! Ages 7 and up! Learn a spooky Dance: October 7th: 9- 9:45am October 14th 9-9:45am October 21st 9-9:45am Cost for 3 classes: $30 per dancer. Spooktakular Costume party and Dance! When: Saturday October 26th: Time: 5:30-7:30pm, Ages 5 and up. There will be spooky Crafts, of course dancing, games and we will be making yummy Dirts and worm pudding treats! Kids will get to vote for there favorite costume and the winner will get a prize:) Cost: $16 per child and $12 extra per sibling. Black Friday You rest or shop, while the kids rock Camp! Date: November 29th Time: 9am to 11:30am Place: Dance In The Isle Ages: 5 and up. Cost: $16 per camper and an extra $12 per sibling We will start this fun camp in the morning for those who want to get a head start on their Christmas shopping, Or maybe you just need a bit of quiet after a busy Thanksgiving. Drop your camper off for this Rocking 2 and a half hour camp that will include an ornament making craft, tumbling, games, of course dance and a short christmas movie to get us all excited for the upcoming season!
